To do a varialflip stand in a kickflip stance but have your front foot closer, not on, the middle of the board. Shift your weight to your back foot to pop and spin the board like a pop-shuvit. As you are spinning it you should also be dragging your front foot up like a kickflip but quicker. When your feet are off let the board do a full 180 and a kickflip combined. Smack down on the truck bolts and roll away smoothly. You will be rolling away with what used to be your nose as your tail.
